Question 1

How often should I service my concrete pool?

Accepted Answer

We recommend professional weekly service for all concrete (gunite) pools. Consistent cleaning and chemical balancing are critical to protecting your plaster finish and equipment from the aggressive water conditions often found in Northern Virginia.

Question 2

Why don't you service vinyl liner pools?

Accepted Answer

We specialize exclusively in concrete (gunite and shotcrete) pools. This focus allows our technicians to be true experts in the specific finishes, chemistry, and structural needs of high-end concrete pools, providing a higher level of care than generalist companies.

Question 3

How long does pool plaster typically last?

Accepted Answer

A well-maintained plaster finish can last 10-15 years, while premium quartz or pebble finishes can last 20+ years. The key to longevity is maintaining perfectly balanced water chemistry and avoiding aggressive acid washing.

Question 4

What areas of Northern Virginia do you serve?

Accepted Answer

We proudly serve Loudoun, Fairfax, Fauquier, and Prince William Counties. This includes communities such as Leesburg, Ashburn, Warrenton, Great Falls, McLean, and Gainesville. View our full list of service areas for more details.

Question 5

Is it safe to use my pool if it's slightly green or cloudy?

Accepted Answer

No. If you cannot clearly see the bottom of the pool or the main drain, swimming should be prohibited. Green or cloudy water indicates a lack of sanitizer or a filtration problem, which can hide dangerous pathogens or submerged swimmers.

Question 6

Do you offer emergency pool repairs?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we offer priority emergency service for critical equipment failures like dead pumps or major leaks. Contact us immediately if you experience an urgent issue that threatens your pool's health or safety.
